Video conversion process:
Our video conversion services are done using professional grade equipment and software. First, we carry out a visual check on your tape to ensure no dust, gunk or tape creases are present in the cassette. We use either a realtime hardware encoder or software encoder to digitally convert your video. These processes may give different results. What process we use may depend on: length of video, contents of video, quality of video, format of video, urgency of job, extra editing requirements or other factors. The type of process used is solely at big eg media's discression.

Disc cases:
Depending on the type of job and content of the video, we use either a standard DVD case, or a slimline jewel CD style case to hold your disc. The type of case used is solely at big eg media's discression. If you would like a specific type of case, please mention this to us when you drop your tape off.

Extra Copies:
Extra copies of both audio and video conversions are exactly the same as the original copy. For large quantities of copies, please contact us for a possible discount.

Additional Video Editing:
We undertake all video editing on an Apple Mac Pro system, broadcast video monitors and Final Cut Studio 2, all the latest in industry standards. Virtually any editing, titles, effects, motion graphics and sounds or music is possible. All video editing is done at a rate of $80/hour, in 15 minute increments. 'Video editing' covers a broad range of services and tasks, and what constitutes 'video editing' is solely at the discression of big eg media.
